The ingredient of Algerian Shorba Frik
- 358 grams meat Goat, 211 gm Bones + 147 gm Boneless Meat
- 1 1/2 tablespoons oil I used 1 u00bd tbsp. but felt 1 tbsp. or even less would have been sufficient
- 1/2 small red onion chopped, I used red but any variety would do something
- 4 cloves garlic chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder or Paprika
- 1 tablespoon tomato glue gum
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt accustom yourself to taste. I do not remember if I other 1 tsp. or 1 u00bc tsp.
- 3 cups water or Vegetable Stock, I used water as I used meat later bones
- 2 tablespoons freekeh green wheat, I used Gross cracked wheat as I could not pronounce freekeh
- 3 chickpeas cooked approx. 2 u2013 3 tbsp.
- 2 tablespoons coriander
- cilantro
